K: Moodboard Summary

By researching our genre indie/folk on the web and other sources we were able to get a feel for the style of video we wished to create. Looking at colour schemes, characters, costumes props and iconography we were able to understand reoccuring images and popular themes. Youtube was a very helpful website which allowed us to research a variety of videos in this genre, to decide between tracks and ultimately choose the song we wished to create a video for.

• We decided on real british social realism, and the particular artist 'Ben Howard'.



• We noticed warm colours were used and the use of animals and nature playing a large part of the mise en scene, particularly landscapes and scenery.



• The animals we wished to use include horses and dogs with a variety of 'random' people in 'random' environments.



• We decided on an arty illustrative style video with a certain vintage and antique querky feel.
