B: Mood Board Summary.

Through the use of the internet to create a Mood Board to research and display our findings on the genre of Indie/ Folk i have learnt a lot.

The main aspects of the genre which i felt were particularly useful are...

• The colours used within the genre, the most predominant colour scheme is burnt oranges, purples and generally autumn colours.



• The Mood Board also looked at Indie and Folk artists album covers which was inspiring for the digipak in which we need to create. Again the colouring and iconography follows the conventions we found.



• Another aspect from the album covers is painted artwork, i think this works really well as a unique and quirky aspect to draw in an audience.



• The iconography was also very inspiring to me, household items placed in random locations such as a sofa in a field work really well and will be Incorporated into our film.



• From our Mood Board we were able to choose our track, we have chosen real British social realism artist Ben Howard, promise as we feel that we will be able to apply the findings of our Mood Board to his track.
